Danny Sanchez, a Los Angeles based artist, has spent the last 8 years learning how to photograph gemological interiors. His photomicrographs, photographs taken through a microscope, are the result of a very long learning and technical process, as it took almost ten years for him to be able to produce images at the level of quality he wanted.

His main influences are the science fiction aesthetic and the cosmos β€œIt was all the limitless imagination of outer space.” The result is breath-taking.
